Internship Positions 2018.2019 (only for Indonesian KTP holder)

Green School, Bali, a progressive, dynamic PreK-12 school, awarded “Greenest School on Earth”, is currently looking for a team of interns per August 2018. Join Green School to change education now to help change the world! Are you a positive, energetic, green-minded, education-oriented Indonesian citizen looking for a Bali adventure? If yes, our internship programme might be a perfect fit!

An exceptional Indonesian KTP holder who:

  • Loves to facilitate learning and build skills through a variety of ways, including hands on, real-life learning
  • Has a high level of self-motivation and follow-through, the tenacity to persevere and the ability to improvise and create quickly and creatively
  • Is a lifetime learner, constantly seeking opportunities to develop, and to help better others
  • Has started and/or supported causes to better the world

A central goal of our intern programme is to provide opportunities for learning and sharing for the local and international community. As an intern, you will gain valuable work experience and learn job-related skills and the importance of and impact that communication, teamwork, working styles, and personalities from different cultures can have in any organisation. The Green School environment offers a holistic way of working and living with multi-national staff, in a safe environment with regular check-ins with participants, helping them to maintain balance in all aspects of their campus and academic lives.

One of the aims of the Green School’s internship programme is to create a space within a sustainable environment where individuals can exchange knowledge about new paradigms in education, nature, global citizenship, and how this relates to themselves as well as others. The love, passion and dedication that interns contribute to Green School make it the ground- breaking place of education that it is. Each year a diverse group of interns come with their own special set of interests and skills. By sharing with the community, they are helping to imagine the possibilities of what can be and shape the future of education.

Although interns are selected and given a specific job function, much of the work they do expands the boundaries of what is listed in the position description. Because collaboration is a core aspect at Green School, interns are expected to collaborate with the Green School staff and one another on projects and programs, thus contributing in the smooth running of the school. Some of this work is strategically defined for the interns in their job descriptions, but much of will just flow naturally.

If you are interested in joining Green School as an intern, you need to:

  • Be an Indonesian citizen (KTP Holder)
  • Be available from August-December 2018 (semester 1)
  • Have clear goals
  • You will complete a written assessment of your internship upon completion
